We have known IZEA to come up with new and exciting ideas such as payperpost. Recently they came with a new offering called SocialSpark. SocialSpark is more like a social networking site for bloggers where you can meet up with bloggers. Other than that it also has a marketplace where you can take up opportunities which fall under different categories. The opportunities maybe a sponsored post, blog sponsorship or a spark. Spark is something new that they have come up with. It is a free opportunity that serves as an idea for blog posts.
Here is a link to my profile. You will be able to get a variety of details about my blog such as page views, alexa rank, Real rank etc. Depending on the setting you can see the daily and the monthly average visitors. Only problem I have had is that my blog hasn’t yet been accepted due to having a low ranking.
Even though I am not doing any opportunities over there I can still be able to meet new people who have blogs similar to mine. That’s what makes social spark different from the rest. So what are you waiting for? Go join SocialSpark now!!

After reaching level 70 all I have been doing was honor grinding. I did run kara once before but that was with a pug group and I had to leave early. So on Saturday my guild was planning on a raid on Karazhan so joined them. Although my guild is a pvp one, we have started doing pve raids now. After waiting for like 2 hours on Saturday we were able to kill only 2 bosses. So we decided that we will continue on Sunday. We started at around 11 pm on Sunday and the raid continued like till 2 30 am. We did not complete the entire raid. We completed only till the chess event. But the raid was quite fun and I also got two epic items and a lot of badges. Looking forward to raiding more xD
In other WOW news, few more people started playing along with me and Marc. Dogfood, Ragha, Goose and Gowtham joined. Goose is the only one who is playing seriously. Ragha gives occasional appearances and food only plays after 9pm and goes off at like 11 30 pm. Food keeps arguing that he knows mage business and keeps doing something stupid. Me and Marc thought we will do rfc like a week back but due to Ragha not playing we still haven’t done it!

Me and Marc were planning on going for a movie yesterday. We were planning on speed racer or Narnia. Unfortunately, dogfood got informed and said that he wanted to go Indiana Jones. So Marc booked the tickets and we went in his for the 10 o clock show. Ragha got drunk on the way. Even goose came along this time.
Movie started aroun 10 15 and few minutes into the movie we saw stunts that are generally only performed by great people like Vijayakanth. The movie has no story, absolutely no logic(which Marc claimed was ok because it was Indiana Jones movie) and there weren’t that many stunts either. It was really boring and Ragha was randomly laughing for no reason what so ever. I suggest that you do not watch the movie. However if you insist on watching the movie then you better go with Ragha so that it will make your movie experience worse. One thing we will not do again is never listen to movie suggestions from food and never inform him beforehand.

Today was the final day of college. Had my project review. They got an external from SMK Fomra college and he was good. Asked some good questions and I managed to answer them without much problems. Now I only have to go to college to collect my course completion certificate and the final marksheets. Mostly won’t go for convocation since it will only be next year. Couple of more months of no studying, no exams and I can play wow most of the time! Yay!
In other news, Ragha will start playing WoW from tomorrow! Marc kept saying that he won’t come but I made him join. Marc has to get back from Munnar and get the key for Ragha and Gowtham. We can start new characters and start leveling together. We just need one more person. Anyone else wanna join?

Finally me and Marc hit level 70 which is when the fun begins.
You can see the character selection screen having my level 70 lock with demon pet felgaurd. I will lose the pet soon as soon as I spec destruction.
Anyway warlocks get this awesome demon horse mount at level 60 much better the one we get at 40. Since I didn’t know any level 70 to run me through the instances and also people hardly play those instances anymore I couldn’t get the mount. So the day I hit 70 me and Marc along with two paladins and one priest ran the two instances need and got my damm mount!
Marc is happy that he got his flying mount. Am happy that I got my land mount! Much better than his stupid bird. Now I have to level my profession, get a flying mount and then go on to upgrade my gear.

Well I was too lazy to update wordpress and also I forgot how to do it manually . Was asking Marc to do the update for me. As usual he refused to provide any help and all he said was some dude is hacking wordpress blogs so you better update it! Then after a while he told me to use the automatic updates plugin and so I did. It did all the work and I finally got my wordpress up to date. Oh yea it also updated all the plugins.

I am really getting fed up of Mr.Ramadoss the health minister coming up crazy rules against almost everything. Remember how he implemented the retirement age for AIIMS so that he can remove the head of the institute because he was not able to do it directly? Now he just banned smoking and drinking scenes from Cinema. That’s right if you see Sharukh or Rajini smoke then you are going to start smoking too! Isn’t that a simple concept? We even have an example. Ragha started after watching Ajith.
So if we are going start banning things on screen because Indian people (Don’t have a mind of their own apparently) follow whatever their larger than life stars are going to do. Then we have to start banning more things on screen like murder(what movie doesn’t have the hero killing someone. Soon you will have a street full of dead bodies and we can have our real life game of Manhunt!), Romance/Love - it is against our culture(did you know?). You should also ban songs from movies. The idea of stars dancing in exotic locations is going to influence people and these mindless people are going to go there and start dancing!
Seriously movies have a very little impact on people and the impact doesn’t last that long. Stars also do a lot of good things on screen and if people are not going to follow that what makes you think they will only follow only the so called evil things? There is no point in telling teenagers not to do things because that’s exactly what they will end up doing. Just let them be. Sharukh is not going to influence them. Neither with Rajini.
If the minister is really concerned with the health of people then does he have the guts to ban cigarettes and alcohol altogether? Of course not then he we won’t be minister. People will smoke as long as there are cigarettes and if you ban them they will get addicted to other things like WoW(It made me lazy and fat and increased the risk that I will suffer from heart disease. Ban it please) for example. Even educated people will do it regardless of what you say because you just can’t tell people what and what not to do in a democratic country.
You just can’t go around banning things. I was watching the week that wasn’t and he makes a brilliant comparison. No smoking, no drinking, no movies, no entertainment, no cheerleaders, no sports am sure our politicians will get along well with the president of Iran.

From tomorrow my modal exams will be starting. It’s annoying to have exams in the final semester especially when some colleges don’t have exams and all the students have to do it submit their project. Of course as usual I have the questions for the modal exams but that still doesn’t mean I will study. Three subjects in total for the last semester and we hardly learnt anything(Not that we did in the previous semesters either)
My semester exams are somewhere in the third week of May and I feel its too late. Oh yea we also have a comprehension exam in which they will ask questions from all the 8 semester and it carries a credit of 1. There would be some point to it if they just kept the exam without providing us a question bank but as usual they have given a question bank and will ask questions only from that! What’s the point?

Yesterday power was shutdown in a lot of areas in Chennai. Besant Nagar/Adyar was one of the affected areas. They were supposed to shut down from 9 am to 5 pm but as usual they must have slept off that they only did it at 11 am. Luckily I had college and came home around 3 30. The heat is Chennai is getting unbearable and coming back home to find out that there is power is really annoying. What are they maintaining for 8 hours? These incompetent people hardly do any work and even if they do maintenance for 8 hours there is a very probability the next few days we might have no power at all.
I waited till 5 and it wasn’t back yet. Trying to call them and ask is pointless as the phone will mostly be engaged or they won’t pick up. Then it was only restored around 6 pm. After 15 minutes or so it was gone again for another 10 minutes. Great maintenance work! Then again after 45 minutes another failure. What’s the point of maintenance if the system is going to fail so frequently? Luckily there was no power cut during the night.
